§ 1 Name, association's office, field of activity of the association

• The association is called "Adopt a Street Princess e.V."

• The association located in 85467 Neuching.

• The association's activities extend to Kuwait and Germany.

• The association is entered in the register of associations at the Munich District Court.

§ 2 the purposes of the Association

The purpose of the association is to promote animal welfare.

1. Representing and promoting the animal welfare concept and the public's understanding of the interests of animals, especially dogs and horses, with a focus on stray dogs in Kuwait and mediation to new owners, as well as the care of horses in the sense of a sanctuary. The implementation of events and other measures to achieve this purpose.

2. Issuing of publications through the press and public relations work by all media in order to draw attention to animal welfare, especially the situation of stray dogs in Kuwait.

3. Preventing and prosecuting animal cruelty and abuse in any form.

4. Establishment and maintenance of animal shelters or animal shelter-like facilities as purpose-built operations, in particular, to accommodate and mediate dogs and to care for horses.

5. The association supports other associations and animal welfare organizations, in particular, Adopt a Street Princess Shelter in Kuwait.

§ 3 Non-profit status of the association

The association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes within the meaning of the section "Tax-privileged purposes" of the Tax Code.

The association is selfless: it does not primarily pursue its own economic purposes. Funds of the association may only be used for statutory purposes. The members do not receive payments from the association.

No person may be favored by expenses that are alien to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration.

Exceptions are employees employed by the association by means of an employment contract, who like self-employed persons, property owners, or the like; invoice the Association for non-cash benefits.

§ 4 Membership

1. Any natural or legal person who has reached the age of 18 promotes the goals and purposes of the association in a suitable manner and helps to achieve them through active activities can become a full member of the association.

2. The membership fee is free or can be free chosen.

3. The Board of Directors shall decide on the admission and there is no need to justify a rejection. The recognition of the association's constitution is a prerequisite for joining the association.

4. Membership ends

• by death or - in the case of legal persons - by dissolution,

• through voluntary resignation,

• by exclusion,

• by being deleted from the list of members.

5. The voluntary resignation takes place through written or electronic informal notice to the board of directors. The resignation occurs on December 31. of the year in which the declaration of resignation is received by the association.

6. A member can be excluded from the association by resolution of the board if

• the member contravenes the purposes set out in the articles of association

• the member violates the interests of the association

• the member of the association causes strife

• for a regular member, the requirements of section 4 paragraph 1 are no longer met. 7. Before the resolution is passed, the person to be excluded must be given the opportunity to comment in writing on the allegations raised, with a period of two weeks.

8. Upon termination of the membership, for whatever reason, all claims arising from the membership relationship shall expire. A refund of contributions, donations, or other support services is excluded. This does not affect the association's claim to outstanding contribution claims.

9. Any natural or legal person who financially supports the association by means of a regular grant may become a supporting member. Supporting members are not members of the association within the meaning of the German Civil Code.

10. The Executive Board may appoint persons who have rendered outstanding services to animal welfare in general or to the Association in particular as honorary members. Honorary members are exempt from the contribution, but they have all rights and obligations of ordinary members.

§ 5 organs of the association

The bodies of the Association are the General Meeting and the Executive Board.

§ 6 General Assembly

1. The general assembly consists of the association members. An ordinary general meeting takes place at least once a year, in the second half of the year. The tasks of the general assembly are:

• The election of the board,

• Decision on the appointment of an excluded member, 

• Receipt of the annual report and the annual accounts 

• Discharge of the board of directors

• Election of the auditors

• Amendment of the statutes

• Dissolution of the association

2. The general assembly is invited by the chairperson of the directors' board or his deputy for a period of one month's notice, stating the agenda by email. Each member can submit requests for the agenda up to two weeks before the general meeting (access). It is to be convened if 40% of the members so request. The agenda can be supplemented or changed by a majority resolution of the general assembly in the meeting; this does not apply to amendments to the statutes. Another member with a written power of attorney can represent each member.

3. The chairperson of the board of directors or his deputy chair the meeting.

4. Each member has one vote when voting. Abstentions are regarded as invalid votes. 5. The resolutions of the general assembly are passed with a simple majority of the valid votes. Resolutions on amendments to the statutes and dissolution of the association require a 2/3 majority of the valid votes. In elections, the one who has the most votes is elected.

6. Minutes of the resolutions of the General Assembly shall be drawn up, which shall be countersigned by the Chairperson and by another Board member. The minutes shall be read out and put to the vote at the next general meeting.

§ 7 The Board of Directors

1. The board consists of the chairperson, his deputy and the treasurer. The board is elected for 3 calendar years, but the board members remain in office until a successor has been elected or the same board has been re-elected. If a member of the board of directors leaves prematurely, e.g. B. by resignation or death, the substitute member of the board is only elected for the remaining term of office of the resigned.

2. As a rule, the members are active on a voluntary basis and receive no remuneration. 

3. The chairperson or his deputy represents the association in and out of court.

4. The board of directors decides with a majority of votes. In a tie vote, the Chairman shall be decisive.

5. The executive committee is responsible for the management of the association, the execution of the resolutions of the general assembly, and the administration of the association's assets. He is authorized to hire and fire personnel.

6. If necessary, or if two board members so request, the chairperson calls a board meeting stating the agenda. He chairs the board meeting. Minutes of the meetings are to be made by the secretary and signed by him and the chairperson.

7. The board decides on the fee schedule for the animal shelters. He also decides on an order for the organization of the animal shelters.

§ 8 the financial year

The financial year runs from January 1 to December 31.

§ 9 Contributions

An annual fee is not set. Members have the opportunity to contribute voluntarily.

§ 10 Sponsorships / Foster Centers

There is the possibility of sponsoring animals that the association looks after. Sponsorships do not require membership. The sponsor for the respective animal takes over sponsorships in the form of material or non-material services.

Foster care only after consultation with the board. Donations do not necessarily have to be used for the patent animal. If the sponsored animal is mediated or dies, the sponsor is informed and the sponsorship is automatically transferred to another animal. The godfather has the option to select the animal again.

§ 11 Dissolution of the Association

If the association is dissolved or annulled, the association's assets go to the Passau animal shelter (Tierschutzbewegung in in East Bavaria and Upper Austria, registered association), which must use them directly and exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of the statutes.


Satzung of Adopt A Street Princess e.V.

§ 1 Name, Sitz, und Tätigkeitsgebiet des Vereins

• Der Verein heißt "Adopt A Street Princess e.V.".

• Er hat seinen Sitz in 85467 Neuching.

• Seine Tätigkeit erstreckt sich auf Kuwait und Deutschland.

• Der Verein soll in das Vereinsregister beim Amtsgericht München eingetragen werden. 

§ 2 Vereinszweck

Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung des Tierschutzes.

1. Vertretung und Förderung des Tierschutzgedankens und des Verständnisses der Öffentlichkeit für die Belange von Tieren, insbesondere von Hunden und Pferden mit Schwerpunkt von herrenlosen Hunden in Kuwait und der Vermittlung an neue Eigentümer, sowie die Pflege von Pferden im Sinne eines Gnadenhofs. Die Durchführung von Veranstaltungen und sonstigen Maßnahmen zur Erreichung dieses Zwecks.

2. Herausgabe von Publikationen durch Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit durch sämtliche Medien, um auf den Tierschutz, insbesondere die Situation von herrenlosen Hunden in Kuwait aufmerksam zu machen.

3. Verhütung und Verfolgung von Tierquälereien und Tiermisshandlungen, egal in welcher Form.

4. Einrichtung und Unterhaltung von Tierheimen oder tierheimähnlichen Einrichtungen als Zweckbetrieb um, insbesondere Hunde unterzubringen und zu vermitteln und Pferde zu pflegen.

5. Der Verein unterstützt andere Vereine und Tierschutzorganisationen.

§ 3 Gemeinnützigkeit des Vereins

Der Verein verfolgt ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige Zwecke im Sinne des Abschnitts "Steuerbegünstigte Zwecke" der Abgabenordnung.

Der Verein ist selbstlos tätig: er verfolgt nicht in erster Linie eigenwirtschaftliche Zwecke.

Mittel des Vereins dürfen nur für die satzungsmäßigen Zwecke verwendet werden. Die Mitglieder erhalten keine Zuwendungen aus Mitteln des Vereins.

Es darf keine Person durch Ausgaben, die dem Zweck des Vereins fremd sind, oder durch unverhältnismäßig hohe Vergütungen begünstigt werden.

Ausnahmen sind beim Verein durch Arbeitsvertrag angestellte Mitarbeiter, die als Selbständige, Vermieter oder ähnliches dem Verein geldwerte Leistungen in Rechnung stellen.

§ 4 Mitgliedschaft

1. Ordentliches Mitglied des Vereins kann jede natürliche oder juristische Person werden, die das 18. Lebensjahr vollendet hat, die Ziele und Zwecke es Vereins in geeigneter Weise fördert und an deren Verwirklichung durch aktive Tätigkeiten mitarbeitet.

2. Ein Mitgliedsbeitrag wird nicht festgelegt. Die Mitglieder haben die Möglichkeit, freiwillig Beiträge zu leisten.

3. Über die Aufnahme entscheidet der Vorstand. Eine Ablehnung muss nicht begründet werden. Die Anerkennung der Vereinssatzung ist Voraussetzung für den Beitritt zum Verein.

4. Die Mitgliedschaft endet 

• durch Tod oder - bei juristischen Personen - durch Auflösung,

• durch freiwilligen Austritt,

• durch Ausschluss,

• durch Streichung aus der Mitgliederliste.

5. Der freiwillige Austritt erfolgt durch schriftliche oder elektronische formlose Kündigung gegenüber dem Vorstand. Der Austritt tritt zum 31.12. des Jahres in Kraft, in dem die Austrittserklärung dem Verein zugeht.

6. Ein Mitglied kann durch Beschluss des Vorstands aus dem Verein ausgeschlossen werden, wenn

• das Mitglied den satzungsmäßigen Zwecken zuwiderhandelt

• das Mitglied gegen Vereinsinteressen verstößt

• das Mitglied im Verein Unfrieden stiftet

• für ein ordentliches Mitglied die Voraussetzungen aus § 4 Absatz 1 nicht mehr erfüllt sind

7. Dem Auszuschließenden ist vor der Beschlussfassung unter Fristsetzung von zwei Wochen Gelegenheit zu geben, sich zu den erhobenen Vorwürfen schriftlich zu äußern.

8. Bei Beendigung der Mitgliedschaft, gleich aus welchem Grund, erlöschen alle Ansprüche aus dem Mitgliedsverhältnis. Eine Rückgewähr von Beiträgen, Spenden oder sonstigen Unterstützungsleistungen ist ausgeschlossen. Der Anspruch des Vereins auf rückständige Beitragsforderungen bleibt hiervon unberührt.

9. Fördermitglied kann jede natürliche oder juristische Person werden, die den Verein durch einen regelmäßigen Förderbeitrag finanziell unterstützt. Fördermitglieder sind keine Mitglieder des Vereins im Sinne des BGB. Sie haben kein Antrags-, Diskussions- oder Stimmrecht in Mitgliederversammlungen

10. Zu Ehrenmitgliedern kann der VorstandPersönlichkeiten ernenne, die sich um den Tierschutz im Allgemeinen oder den Verein im Besonderen hervorragende Verdienste erworben haben. Ehrenmitglieder sind von der Beitragsleistung befreit. Sie haben jedoch alle Rechte und Pflichten der ordentlichen Mitglieder.

§ 5 Organe des Vereins

Organe des Vereins sind die Mitgliederversammlung und der Vorstand.

§ 6 Mitgliederversammlung

1. Die Mitgliederversammlung besteht aus den Vereinsmitgliedern. Mindestens einmal im Jahr findet eine ordentliche Mitgliederversammlung statt, und zwar im zweiten Halbjahr. Die Aufgaben der Mitgliederversammlung sind:

• Die Wahl des Vorstandes,

• Entscheidung über die Berufung eines ausgeschlossenen Mitglieds,

• Entgegennahme des Jahresberichtes und der Jahresrechnung

• Entlastung des Vorstandes

• Wahl der Rechnungsprüfer

• Änderung der Satzung

• Auflösung des Vereins

2. Die Mitgliederversammlung wird vom Vorsitzenden des Vorstandes oder seinem Stellvertreter mit einer Frist von einem Monat unter Angabe der Tagesordnung per E-Mail eingeladen. Jedes Mitglied kann bis zwei Wochen vor der Mitgliederversammlung (Zugang) Anträge zur Tagesordnung stellen. Sie ist einzuberufen, wenn 40% der Mitglieder dieses Verlangen. Die Tagesordnung kann durch Mehrheitsbeschluss der Mitgliederversammlung in der Sitzung ergänzt oder Geändert werden; dies gilt nicht für Satzungsänderungen. Jedes Mitglied kann sich mit schriftlicher Vollmacht durch ein anderes Mitglied vertreten lassen.

3. Der Vorsitzende des Vorstandes oder sein Stellvertreter leiten die Versammlung.

4. Bei der Abstimmung hat jedes Mitglied eine Stimme. Stimmenthaltungen gelten als ungültige Stimmen.

5. Die Beschlüsse der Mitgliederversammlung werden mit einfacher Mehrheit der gültigen Stimmen gefasst. Beschlüsse über Satzungsänderungen und Auflösung des Vereins bedürfen einer 2/3 Mehrheit der gültigen Stimmen. Bei Wahlen ist derjenige gewählt, der die meisten Stimmen auf sich vereinigt.

6. Über die Beschlüsse der Mitgliederversammlung ist ein Protokoll anzufertigen, das vom Sitzungsleiter und von einem anderen Vorstandsmitglied gegenzuzeichnen ist. Das Protokoll ist in der nächsten Mitgliederversammlung zu verlesen und zur Abstimmung zu bringen.

§ 7 Der Vorstand

1. Der Vorstand besteht aus dem Vorsitzenden, seinem Stellvertreter und dem Schatzmeister. Der Vorstand wird auf 3 Kalenderjahre gewählt, jedoch bleiben die Vorstandsmitglieder so lang im Amt, bis ein Nachfolger gewählt ist, oder der gleiche Vorstand wiedergewählt wurde. Scheidet ein Mitglied des Vorstandes vorzeitig, z. B. durch Rücktritt oder Tod aus, ist das Ersatzmitglied des Vorstandes nur für die restliche Amtsdauer des Ausgeschiedenen gewählt.

2. Die Mitglieder sind grundsätzlich ehrenamtlich tätig. Sie erhalten keine Vergütungen. 

3. Der Vorsitzende oder sein Stellvertreter vertritt den Verein gerichtlich und außergerichtlich.

4. Der Vorstand entscheidet mit Stimmenmehrheit. Bei Stimmengleichheit gibt die Stimme des Vorsitzenden den Ausschlag.

5. Dem Vorstand obliegt die Leitung des Vereins, die Ausführung der Beschlüsse der Mitgliederversammlung und die Verwaltung des Vereinsvermögens. Er ist befugt, Personal einzustellen und zu entlassen.

6. Der Vorsitzende ruft bei Bedarf, oder wenn zwei Vorstandsmitglieder es begehren, eine Vorstandssitzung unter Angabe der Tagesordnung ein. Er leitet die Vorstandssitzung. Über die Sitzungen ist ein Protokoll durch den Schriftführer anzufertigen und von ihm und dem Vorsitzenden zu unterschreiben.

7. Der Vorstand beschließt die Gebührenordnung für die Tierheime. Er beschließt weiter eine Ordnung für die Organisation der Tierheime.

§ 8 Das Geschäftsjahr

Das Geschäftsjahr läuft vom 01. Januar bis 31. Dezember.

§ 9 Beiträge

Ein Jahresbeitrag wird nicht festgelegt. Die Mitglieder haben die Möglichkeit, freiwillig Beiträge zu leisten.

§ 10 Patenschaften/Pflegestellen

Es gibt die Möglichkeit Patenschaften für Tiere, die der Verein betreut, zu übernehmen. Patenschaften verpflichten nicht zur Mitgliedschaft. Patenschaften werden in Form von materieller bzw. ideeller Leistungen des Paten für das/die jeweiligen Tier/e übernommen.

Pflegestellen nur nach Absprache mit dem Vorstand.

Zuwendungen müssen nicht zwingend für das Patentier verwendet werden. Bei Vermittlung oder Tod des Patentieres wird der Pate informiert und die Patenschaft geht automatisch auf ein anderes Tier über. der Pate hat die Möglichkeit das Tier neu auszuwählen.

§ 11 Auflösung des Vereins

Bei Auflösung oder Aufhebung des Vereins fällt das Vermögen des Vereins an das Tierheim Passau (Tierschutzbewegung Ostbayern u. OÖ e. V.), die es unmittelbar und ausschließlich für gemeinnützige Zwecke im Sinne der Satzung zu verwenden hat.
